Sacof comes from the Swahili expression “Sasa kahawa” which means “Coffee now” but in the market Sacof stands for trust and reliability and expertise as a coffee quality controller.

In 2013 it was founded to work with the now defunct American trade house COEX Coffee International to carry out precisely: representation, quality control, logistics coordination.

The founder has 38 years of active involvement in the coffee industry. The company is working on getting an ISO 9001 – 2015 certification on quality assurance. The quality controllers undergo regular training and calibration. All of them have their R grader license, and are working towards getting Q grader certifications for some of the graders.
